BetterDoctor Attestation Reminder

To help ensure provider directory information is up to date for patients and to meet regulatory requirements, we’ve enlisted BetterDoctor to assist.

BetterDoctor will soon contact you on our behalf to gather information. This will occur via phone, fax, email, and / or post mail, which should contain a website for you to visit where you can securely update doctor and practice information.

Additionally, federal and state regulatory requirements require providers — including doctors, practitioners, etc. — to verify their information for each contract they have with a health plan.

Current Federal Requirements include:

  • Medicare Advantage Standards
  • Exchange/Marketplace (Machine Readable Standards)
  • Medicaid Managed Care
  • California’s State Bill 137
  • California Department of Insurance (CDI)’s Network
  • State Health Insurance Exchange Rules
  • State Specific Legislation

Please respond to these communication requests within 180 days of the last attestation. Failure to do so may result in removal of your information from our directories.

Our system will undergo routine maintenance starting Saturday, April 12th at 9:00pm ET ending Sunday, April 13th at 12:00pm ET. The portal will be unavailable during that time. To mitigate any impact to your work, we recommend that you plan to complete any activities in the portal before the downtime. Your access will resume immediately after the downtime window concludes.

In addition, please be aware that members will be unable to access their member portals during this time and their access will resume as normal immediately after the downtime window concludes.

The Provider Resource Center will remain accessible during the downtime window.
